Hungarian Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years in Budapest

Nearly 500 Scientologists gathered in Budapest to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology’s Ideal Org on Váci Road.
Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary brought together a religious service, live music, a eu news photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.
During the past decade, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
